Bonacina is present throughout the north, Lazio and Sicily; Bonacini seems typically Emilian, of the Reggio Emilia and Modena area; Bona is present throughout the centre-north; Boni is typical of northern Lombardy (Como, Varese, Milan, Bergamo, Brescia areas); Bonì is very rare and typically Sicilian, especially of the Trapani area (Alcamo); Bono is very widespread in Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, the Rome and Latina areas, the Salento, Calabria and Sicily.
